Event Results
Once an Event is scheduled and a golf course track is selected results can be entered
for it. Event Results can be used in handicap calculations and/or
seasonal point totals depending on the Event details. Event Results can be entered and
updated until the season expires.
Entering or Updating Event Results
- Select from the league menu.
- Select the Event that you want to enter results for from the menu on the left.
- Select from the menu on
the left.
- For each player who played in the Event follow the steps below. Alternatively,
for players who did not play in the Event, simply uncheck the 'Entered' column if it is checked.
- Check the 'Entered' column. If the player registered for the Event
this column will already be checked.
- Check the 'Champion' column if the player was the champion or co-champion of the Event.
- Enter the course handicap if handicaps were used. This may already be filled
depending on the handicap system and the Event details.
- Enter the gross score (optional).
- Enter the adjusted gross score. This field is required if the Event Results
are to be used in the handicap calculation. This is because adjusted gross score
is always used to determine handicap differentials or score-to-pars.
- Enter the net score (required). The net score is typically the gross score
minus the course handicap. However, it can also store any other score that
was used to determine a players place in the Event. For example, in a Stableford
competition, the net score would the number of Stableford points accumulated.
- Enter any points accumulated for the Event.
- Select from the menu to save the results and allow them to
be used in handicap calculations and seasonal point totals if necessary. Select
from the menu to save the results in a pending status for later updating.
