Golf Courses and Tracks

Golf Courses store the address and other general information.  Golf Courses can have one or more Tracks associated with it.  A Track represents a 9 or 18 hole section of a Golf Course and stores information such as par, course rating, slope rating etc.  It is the Track that is actually associated with weekly play or an event.  Golf Courses and their Tracks are carried through from season to season.  They can be added and modified until the season expires.

Adding a New Golf Course

  1. Select Settings > Golf Courses from the league menu.
  2. Select Add a New Golf Course from the Tools menu.
  3. Enter the Golf Course name (required), the address information, and the Golf Course's Web site.
  4. Click the Add button to save the new Golf Course.

Note: If enough of the address is entered, a link to a Google Map of the Golf Courses location will be displayed along with the Golf Course details for league members to use.

Updating a Golf Course

  1. Select Settings > Golf Courses from the league menu.
  2. Select the Golf Course that you wish to update from the menu on the left.
  3. Select Edit this Golf Course from the Tools menu.
  4. Enter the updated information.
  5. Click the Update button to save your changes.

Deleting a Golf Course

  1. Select Settings > Golf Courses from the league menu.
  2. Select the Golf Course that you wish to delete from the menu on the left.
  3. Select Delete this Golf Course from the Tools menu.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

Note: Golf Courses that are used for any scheduled week or event cannot be deleted.

Adding a New Track

  1. Select Settings > Golf Courses from the league menu.
  2. Select the Golf Course that you wish to add the Track to from the menu on the left.
  3. Select Add a New Track from the Tools menu.
  4. Enter the Track's name (required).
  5. Select the number of holes.
  6. Enter par for the Track (required).
  7. Enter the Track's yardage (optional).
  8. Enter the course rating for the Track (required).
  9. Enter the slope rating for the Track (required).
  10. Click the Add button to save the new Track.

Updating a Track

  1. Select Settings > Golf Courses from the league menu.
  2. Select the Golf Course that has the Track that you want to update from menu on the left.
  3. Click the Edit button next to the Track that you want to update on the Tracks table below the Golf Course details.
  4. Enter the updated information.
  5. Click the Update button to save your changes.

Note: If a Track is updated that is used in weekly play or an If enough of the address is entered, a link to a Google Map of the Golf Courses location will be displayed along with the Golf Course details for league members to use.

Deleting a Track

  1. Select Settings > Golf Courses from the league menu.
  2. Select the Golf Course that has the Track that you want to delete from the menu on the left.
  3. Click the Delete button next to the Track that you want to delete on the Tracks table below the Golf Course details.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
