How much does a league subscription cost?

What is PayPal?

PayPal is the Web's leading provider of online payment services. It is the preferred payment provider for well established sites such as eBay and Amazon.com. It is also the secure payment provider for MyGolfLeagueManager.

Why does a subscription last 15 months?

15 months allows for ample setup time and a full calendar year of play.

When can I add a new season to my league?

A new season can be created for an existing league 8 months after the previous season was started.

What type of handicap systems does MyGolfLeagueManager support?

MyGolfLeagueManager supports the following handicap options:

  • None - Your league does not use handicaps.
  • Manual - Your league uses handicaps that are calculated outside of the system and then entered manually.
  • Flat - A handicap based on an average score-to-pars.
  • Custom Index - A USGA-style handicap based on differentials.
  • USGA - A handicap that uses the exact USGA formula.

What aspects of the handicap formula can be configured?

The following aspects of the handicap formula can be configured:

  • The number of holes for the handiap.
  • The total number of scores to consider for the calculation.
  • The best fraction or absolute number of scores to use.
  • The number of months that scores remain valid.
  • The number of rounds that a player must record before they can be assigned a handiap.
  • Whether the number of best scores should be rounded up or down.
  • A modifier that can be applied to award lower handicaps.

What are "Handicap Seed Scores"?

A handicap seed score is a round recorded outside of league play that is used in a players league handicap. Seed scores are an especially useful way for new players to establish a league handicap before they participate in league play. They can also be from rounds recorded in league play in seasons before your league began using MyGolfLeagueManager

How can I add members to my league?

There are 4 basic ways to add a player to your league:

  • An invitation can be sent via email. The new member will then have the option to accept the invitation when they sign in to MyGolfLeagueManager.
  • A member from a past season can be added manually.
  • A user account can be created using the new members email address. The new member can then sign in at their leisure.
  • A fill-in member can be created without an email address.

What is a fill-in player?

A fill-in player is league member who does not have an actual user account associated with it. This is useful for members who do not have an email address or who are unable to sign in to MyGolfLeagueManager.

Can a weekly play schedule be created automatically?

Yes. Within your league's management functions a simple process will guide you through the creation a weekly play schedule.

Can I schedule special outings and tournaments?

Yes. Up to 52 one-time events can be scheduled. You will then be able to specify whether or not to use the events results for points scoring and/or handicapping.

What is the difference between weekly play and events?

Weekly play is your league's regularly scheduled play. Events are one-time tournaments or outings.

Can I allow non-players to view my league's information?

Yes. Each league can have up to 20 guest members who will be able to view league information and results.

Can I allow others to perform administrative functions for my league?

Yes. Any player can be made an administrator. Also, each league can have up to 20 non-player administrators.

Is match play supported?

Yes. MyGolfLeagueManager can create a match schedule for weekly play. You can also add, remove, or modify matches on-the-fly as you enter results.

Can my league have multiple flights?

Yes. Each league can have up to 10 flights.

Is group competition supported?

MyGolfLeagueManager does not currently support group play.

What scoring categories can be entered?

Gross score, adjusted gross score, and net score can be entered. These are in addition to any custom scoring categories that are created.

Can I create custom scoring categories?

Yes. Up to 6 custom scoring categories can be created.

What is the purpose of the primary point category?

The primary point category is typically the main scoring category for a league. MyGolfLeagueManager will list this category first in any results table and use the category as the default sort.

What does the league status mean?

  • Setup - No results have been entered.
  • In-Progress - Results have been entered for some weekly play dates and/or events.
  • Complete - Results have been entered for all weekly play and events and/or the season has expired.

What is a golf course track?

Each golf course can have multiple golf course tracks. A track is what is actually used in weekly play and events. A course might have separate tracks for the front and back nines or for different tees.

Can I post my league's rules?

Yes. You can upload a rules document or specify a URL where the rules are located.

Can I upload documents that will be available to my league members?

Yes. Up to 10 documents per season can be uploaded.

Who can view my location and phone number?

Only members of your league can view your location and phone number.
